Organ Transplantation Journals

A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the oldest journals publish articles, reviews, editorials, short communications, letters, and scientific papers across a wide range of scientific fields. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity. Each such journal article becomes part of the permanent scientific record. Organ transplantation is the transfer of essential organs from one location to another with in a same individual or from one person to the other for the purpose of replacing patients damaged or absent organs. Many diseases which will not be readily curable by any existing therapies can be cured by this method of organ transplantation. There are different types of transplantations and the most commonly transplanted organs are kidneys, liver and heart. Organ transplantation technique can be mainly divided into two types called allograft and autograft transplantations. Autograft transplantation is a transplantation which involves the transferof organs from one place to other within the same body, whereas allograft transplantation is a transplantation technique which is performed between two different individuals or between two species.
