when the articular cartilage which is present at the end of a joint is torn by any reason it is called osteochondral fracture. Mostly knee and ankle joints are affected because these joints have a lot of strain and weight, and this is why they are so vulnerable. There are so many ways by which this fracture can be identified; one of those is x ray. Apart from X-ray other medical technologies or imaging system are used to get a detailed view of fractured joint
