Enuresis is a condition in which the individual suffers from a repeated inability to control urination called involuntary urination or urinary incontinence. This condition can be nocturnal, diurnal or mixed. Many patients (children) overcome incontinence naturally as they grow older, without treatment. Devices like moisture alarms which awaken a person when he or she begins to urinate are also used. They contain a water-sensitive sensor that is clipped on the pajamas. An alarm sounds when moisture is first detected. This behavioral training is one of the safest and more effective treatments. Medications in the form of increment of ADH levels can be done to treat this condition.
