Agri Food and Aqua Conferences

Agriculture Conferences are conducted to raise awareness about the importance of agriculture and allied fields. In past decades, agriculture was only concentrated in production of food crops. But in recent decades, agriculture has been associated with a large number of opportunities for research and employment like horticulture, floriculture, seed technology, nematology, pathology, engineering, biotechnology, forestry, animal science, dairy, bee keeping, climatology etc. Besides this, Agriculture is the main source of food and raw materials for livelihood and also serves as major economic backbone to some countries. Combining agricultural production with general theories of marketing and business as a discipline of study began in the late 1800s, and grew significantly through the 20th century.

Food is central to human health, not only in terms of quantity, but also quality as well. Food Technology has evolved from merely a need to preserve foods from the time and location of harvest or assembly until the product reaches the consumer, to possibly complex activities that may include sourcing raw materials and ingredients from different parts of the world that can improve nutritional and other desirable qualities for better overall health and wellness of consumers.Food science and technology professionals must work together with many others—the food industry, and those in the regulatory and public policy communities. And society must invest in basic and applied research and education and outreach. With science and technology solutions available to address specific issues throughout the food system, our ability to feed a growing population in a sustainable way, while safeguarding both human and planet health, looks not only possible, but also promising. We must, however, remain steadfast and rational about our approach, to help both humanity and nature.

Aquaculture includes the production of seafood from hatchery fish and shellfish which are grown to market size in ponds, tanks, cages, or raceways.  Stock restoration or "enhancement" is a form of aquaculture in which hatchery fish and shellfish are released into the wild to rebuild wild populations or coastal habitats such as oyster reefs.  Aquaculture also includes the production of ornamental fish for the aquarium trade, and growing plant species used in a range of food, pharmaceutical, nutritional, and biotechnology products. Researchers and aquaculture producers are "farming" all kinds of freshwater and marine species of fish, shellfish, and plants.  Aquaculture produces food fish, sport fish, bait fish, ornamental fish, crustaceans, mollusks, algae, sea vegetables, and fish eggs

Food Conferences
Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an organism and assimilated by the organism's cells to provide energy, maintain life, or stimulate growth. Some countries list a legal definition of food, often referring them with the word foodstuff. These countries list food as any item that is to be processed, partially processed, or unprocessed for consumption. The listing of items included as food includes any substance intended to be, or reasonably expected to be, ingested by humans. In addition to these foodstuffs, drink, chewing gum, water, or other items processed into said food items are part of the legal definition of food. Items not included in the legal definition of food include animal feed, live animals (unless being prepared for sale in a market), plants prior to harvesting, medicinal products, cosmetics, tobacco and tobacco products, narcotic or psychotropic substances, and residues and contaminants.
