Varicocele Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Varicocele is known as dilatation of the pampiniform plexus of the spermatic cord and has long been thought to be related with male infertility. It is assessed that 10-15% of men and adolescent boys have varicoceles, and in men with irregular semen analysis, the occurrence of varicocele reached 25%. In fact varicocele is the most commonly seen and correctable cause of male factor infertility. The aetiology and pathophysiology of varicocele is difficult and likely multifactorial. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
