Sustainable Engineering may be defined as engineering for human development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Examples of Sustainable Engineering include: Using methods that minimize environmental damage to provide sufficient food, water, shelter, and mobility for a growing world population Designing products and processes so that wastes from one are used as inputs to another Incorporating environmental and social constraints as well as economic considerations into engineering decisions A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the oldest journals publish articles, reviews, editorials, short communications, letters, and scientific papers across a wide range of scientific fields. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity. Each such journal article becomes part of the permanent scientific record.
