Cerebral Palsy: A Pediatric Disorder

Meta Discription: Cerebral palsy is one of the most common and chronic disorders in children. It will mainly occur at the time of pregnancy or after birth mostly in the age between 0-3 years. It mainly effects the brain and nervous system which will lead to many muscle disorders and uncontrollable movements like trembling, shaking, etc.

 

Cerebral palsy is one of the most common and chronic disorders in pediatric research, which will cause physical disability in children. The word palsy means paralysis and the effect of this disease mainly on cerebrum, cerebellum of the brain. So, it is name as Cerebral Palsy which means Paralysis of brain. It will cause damage to motor control centers of the developing brain and affect body movement in children which leads to physical disability.

 
Cerebral palsy can affect at the time of pregnancy or after birth mostly in the age between 0-3 years. It is not a hereditary disorder but very less chances of 2% is there for genetic cause. There is no cure for this disease in pediatric research. But, researchers are keeping efforts to treat and prevent complications of this cerebral palsy.
 
Cerebral palsy is not an infectious disease and it cannot be transferable from one person to the other. It mainly effects the brain and nervous system which will lead to many muscle disorders and uncontrollable movements like trembling, shaking, etc.
