Hydrogeology of Volcanic Regions

Description:

This is a short review of a book on hydrogeology of volcanic regions. Two main hydrogeothermal fields on the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia (Mutnovsky and Pauzhetsky fields) as well as main geothermal fields throughout the world are described in full. Mutnovsky and Pauzhetsky fields have been modeled by means of the direct and inverse Transport of Unsaturated Groundwater and Heat (TOUGH) codes and the modeling results have been discussed.
