Radial and Axial Flow Porous Burners

One of the possible configurations for porous burners is cylindrical configuration. In this configuration, two types of flows can be assumed; one is a flow which moves in the burner axially. This type of flow was investigated by Khosravy et al. In cylindrical geometry and the effect of pressure drop was studied on performance of burner. In another study, they also investigated the effect of lateral heat conduction in cylindrical geometry with axial flow.
