Presented is a computer-aided process design and analysis procedure for use in creating Aspen HYSYS-based base-case design simulations for a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell. This procedure is based on the work of Douglas. This approach provides a step by step method to system design that permits preliminary assessments of the economic viability, which allows for expeditious creation of realistic and economic design simulations.
