Trauma therapy uses a number of techniques for the purpose of disappear the feelings experienced by a patient. It is done by changing his thoughts, believes and behaviour. Techniques that are used are exposure, cognitive restructuring, emotional and physical adjustments. Emotional and physical adjustment includes relaxation, breathing, stopping thoughts. In expose technique, the therapist helps the patient to cope up with bad memories, situations, people and objects. In cognitive restructuring technique the therapist helps the patient to identify and change those negative thoughts.
