Brachytherapy is an advanced cancer treatment and a form of internal radiation therapy where the radiation source is placed internally and immediately beside the target organ. It allows delivery of high doses to a specific area without affecting other areas. Now a days Brachytherapy is done for breast cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer and cervical cancer.
