Surgical Pathology Peer-review Journals

Surgical pathology is the most significant and time-consuming area of practice for most anatomical pathologists. Often, the surgical pathologist provides consultation services in a wide variety of organ symptoms and subspecialties. Surgical pathologists provide diagnostic information and/or second opinions. Surgical pathology includes both the physical examination of the tissue with the naked eye, as well as examining processed tissue under a microscope. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
