Changes in qualitative patterns of esterases are observed in the developing stages of the red flour beetle, Tribolium Castaneum. pCMB , paraoxon and eserine are used to classify the esterases into different categories. 8 zones of esterases are observed in different developmental (larval to adult) stages of Tribolium Castaneum.
