Over the last decade, a large number of pioneering works have provided foundations for both theory and applications of Wireless Ad hoc Networks (WLAN). As ad hoc technology is becoming the demand of present and future trends that needs for a reliable communication link having minimum BER and power. This review work presents the impact of mobility, and energy efficiency and clustering on optimization of Bit Error Rate (BER) and power as well as on throughput. An analysis review is made on Network coding scheme to optimize BER and throughput. And finally how these factors vary in WLAN is discussed in conclusion.
