Survey was conducted at six districts of northern parts of Bengal to investigate the occurrence of natural enemies of insect pests of paddy. A total of 49 predators and 7 parasitoid species were recorded. Spiders appeared to be the most abundant among the predators followed by coleopterans. Greater abundances of enemies of pests were noticed at IPM and SRI fields.
