Lassa fever is an acute viral hemorrhagic fever caused by the Lassa virus Arenaviridae virus. Signs and symptoms include facial swelling, conjunctivitis and mucosal bleeding, vomiting, diarrhea, Constipation, tachycardia, cough chest pain and meningitis.
