Journal of Infectious Disease and Pathology (JIDP) is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dealing with articles on different aspects of mycosis, lower respiratory infections, measles, ophthalmic diseases, infectious diseases in obstetrics and gynecology, cysticercosis, dengue fever, histoplasmosis, lassa fever, norovirus infection, tularemia, west nile virus infection, cholera, cryptococcosis, diphtheria, ebola hemorrhagic fever, listeriosis, shigellosis, swine flu, and stomach flu etc.

Journal of Infectious Disease and Pathology is using Editorial Manager System for quality in review process. Editorial Manager is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems used by most of the best open access journals. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of journal or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor's approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.

Mycosis

It is a fungal infection of humans. Individuals with weakened immune systems like HIV/AIDS, on chemotherapy, diabetes are more likely to get mycosis. Mycoses are three types: Superficial mycoses are fungal infections of outermost layers of the skin and hair. Example includes fungal infection by Tinea versicolor. Cutaneous mycoses extend deeper into the epidermis. Example includes infection from ringworm. Systemic mycoses are fungal infection present throughout the body example Candidiasis, Cryptococcosis and Aspergillosis.
