Organisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, animals are main cause of Infectious diseases. These organisms are harmless or helpful but in certain conditions they trigger the development of an infection. Infectious diseases have a range of causes, and they can be found all over the world. These diseases are considered contagious or communicable. Therapy or treatment is the attempted remediation of a health problem, usually following a diagnosis.
Infectious Diseases Journal includes a wide range of fields which includes research on Bacterial Infections, sexually transmitted infections, Antiviral therapy, Antibiotics, Parasitic Infections, Viral infections, Vaccines, Respiratory Tract Infections, Infections caused by animals, Advanced Therapies etc. Its discipline to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal and to aid in receiving high impact factor. The editorial office promises a constructive and fast peer review process for the submitted manuscripts for the quality of publishing. Journal of Infectious Diseases & Therapy is an Open Access journal and aims to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all areas of the field and making them freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
The journal is using Editorial Manager System for quality in review process. Editorial Manager is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Journal of Infectious Diseases & Therapy or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

The diseases caused by germs and which may infect any part of the body are called Infectious Diseases. They can spread by any means where there is a germ. They are caused by pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, virus and fungi. Germs can be spread by direct or indirect contact. Vaccination, Maintenance of Proper Hygiene and Medicines help in the prevention of infection.

HIV and AIDS research is a medical research that helps in prevention and treatment of HIV which is an infectious agent that helps in causing AIDS. Recent shows that the hormones namely estrogen and progesterone impacts the transmission of HIV. Examples include HIV vaccines, drug development, pre exposure prophylaxis. More than thirty drugs were discovered which can only improve the life span of the patient. However, if the drugs were not used regularly, the infection reoccurs in the body which may lead to the death of the patient.

Human Papilloma Virus is the most common sexually transmitted infection. Some types of these viruses can cause genital warts and cancers. Genital warts usually appear as a small bump or group of bumps in the genital area. However, if the infection is High risk, then there will be more chances of occurence of cervical cancer. Vaccination is recommended for the patients with compromised immune system. There will be no symptoms for HPV infection and the body clears the infection after few years. Recent research has shown that more than 90% of patients have no symtoms of the infection until two years.

Chicken pox is a viral infection that is caused by a virus Varicella Zoster. It can spread easily from each other and the patient develops shingles. The chickenpox rash occurs about 10 to 21 days after coming into contact with someone who had the disease. A person with chickenpox becomes contagious 1 to 2 days before their blisters appear. They remain contagious until all the blisters have crusted over. Symptoms include fever, Headache and Stomach ache The blisers can be seen on face, neck and scalp. Some people who had vaccination for this infection can again develop the infection. These conditions are very rare.

The contagious person takes 7 days to cure the disease. It takes one day for a person to become contagious. Symptoms include Headache, Soreness, Muscle aches and fever. Many people have no other complications other than the infection but some may develop ear infections s=and sinus infections. Young Chidren, Pregnant women and people with a weak innume system may develop high risk of infection.

T cell Lymphomatic viruses are the first human retrovirus discovered. It belongs to the class of Lentivirus. Most Patients affected with this virus have more chances in developing leukaemia. Some people may develop infectious diseases or other inflammatory disorders. Symptoms include weakness, numbness and stiffness in the legs, difficulty walking and inflammation of eyes. The risk of infection occurs in the persons who are repeated injection users. Some people may develop the infection by sexual contact with the injection users. The virus is linked to neuro degenerative disorders.

Herpes Virus infection can be caused by herpes. Person usually infected by Herpes virus is through sexual contact. It can also spread through direct contact of the person through mouth. Infection prevention and control is helpful to prevent the transmission pf infectious diseases. Aseptic technique is normally applied to prevent the infections caused by different means. Sterilization is another process of killing microorganisms by the application of heat. Disinfection means use of liquid chemicals to kill the harmful microorganisms. Some infectious diseases can be prevented by avoiding direct contact with the contagious person.

The invasion and multiplication of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites that are not normally present within the body. An infection may cause no symptoms and be subclinical, or it may cause symptoms and be clinically apparent. An infection may remain localized, or it may spread through the blood or lymphatic vessels to become systemic . Microorganisms that live naturally in the body are not considered infections.

Infection in blood is otherwise known as sepsis. Chemicals are released into the blood to fight the infection caused by inflammation. Blood clotting during the sepsis can lead to the decrease in the blood flow and nutrients and internal organs which eventually causes organ damage. Symptoms include Fever, Diarrhoea, Rapid pulse and decreased urination. Bacterial Infections are the most common causes of sepsis.

Many advanced therapies have been invented to diagnose the infection. Standard therapies and recent advances have been invented in the treatment of Prostate cancer. The treatment options include the use of cyberknives which is the latest molecular diagnostic tool for the treatment of neoplastic diseases. Current therapies shown to prolong overall survival in mCRPC include the sipuleucel-T vaccine, chemotherapy options including docetaxel and cabazitaxel, hormonal blocking agents and the bone-targeting alpha-emitter radium-223 dichloride are the interesting challenges to sequencing and combination of these agents.

Treatment of viral infections such as HIV involves patient care and moral support including antiretroviral therapy. Bacterial Infections can be treated by administering antibiotics to the patients. Yeast Infections can be primarily treated by sterilisation methods. Diseases such as Cancer can be treated by Chemotherapy. Recent techniques have proved that there is no disease that cannot be treated.

*2022 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2020 and 2021 with the number of times they are cited in 2022 based on Google Scholar Citation Index database. If 'X' is the total number of articles published in 2020 and 2021, and 'Y' is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2022 then, journal impact factor = Y/X
