Chronic infectious diseases are caused by the intervention of virus, fungi and bacteria. Our body acts as host for many bacteria, without causing any disease, however some of them lead to sickness in certain conditions. Most of these infectious diseases are transmitted in the community by means of insects or bugs or air, water and contaminated food. As per the advancements in medical field, most of the infectious diseases are preventable through vaccination, however others cannot, only we can do is to implement controlling measures for non transmission of the infectious diseases. We cannot specify a few infectious diseases, since they are in hundreds found and noted world wise. The most common symptom is chills and fever that in turn indicate that our body immune system fighting to eliminate the infectious agent without external medication. Initial diagnosis of the type of infection through laboratory tests like blood, urine tests and by x-ray, computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging helps to decrease the risk, discomfort and transmission of infectious agent further. Proper controlling measures and scheduled treatment plan and medication help to recover from the diseased state. Many new innovational techniques has been developing with the contest of rapid diagnosis and treatment plans.
