Arachidonic acid is a polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid and is present on the opposite side of saturated arachidic acid of peanut oil. It is useful to promote the growth of muscle tissues around the skeleton. The major sources of arachidonic acid are egg yolk, red meats, and organ meats.
