Endoproteases that contain proteolytic core domains and ATPase- containing regulatory domains. They are also called as endopeptidase or endoproteinase. Exopeptidase which break peptide bonds from their end-pieces. endopeptidases cannot break down peptides into monomers, while exopeptidases can break down proteins into monomers.
