Genetic polymorphism is that the cooccurring prevalence within the same neighbourhood of 2 or a lot of discontinuous forms in such proportions that the rarest of them can't be maintained simply by perennial mutation or immigration, originally outlined by Ford .The later definition by Cavalli-Sforza & Bodmer is presently used: "Genetic polymorphism is that the prevalence within the same population of 2 or a lot of alleles at one locus, every with considerable frequency", wherever the minimum frequency is usually taken as one hundred and twenty fifth. Now-a-days there are many journals published by various organizations.
