Signal Transduction is the way by which cells respond to extracellular signalling molecule which activates a specific receptor located on the cell surface or inside the cell. The study on signal transduction focuses on the mechanism by which cells, tissues and organisms respond to different stimuli and different factors responsible for the regulation and prevention of Signal transduction, responses of cells to many environmental stimuli leads to diverse aspects of human health and cause diseases like cystic fibrosis, diabetes, cancer, asthma and autoimmune diseases.
