Xenotransplantation is any procedure that involves the transplantation, implantation or infusion into a human recipient of either (a) live cells, tissues, or organs from a nonhuman animal source, or (b) human body fluids, cells, tissues or organs that have had ex vivo contact with live nonhuman animal cells, tissue. The body organ may include, cells, tissue, organ, etc. in case of allotransplantation, the organ exchange takes place between same species. Itâs a unethical procedure because in most of the cases the organ doesnât work in the body of recipient, and it dies.in some cases the life cycle of certain species are less as compared to humans, so in such cases when xenotransplantation is done human life will be at very high risk or the person die at that particular moment.
