"American Biological Safety Association (ABSA) took the lead and devised two credentials: • Registered Biosafety Professional (RBP); based upon accreditation of previous credentials and trainings. Now there is periodic renewal after five years based upon specified criteria mainly continuous professional development. • Certified Biosafety Professional (CBSP); based on prior clearance of National Registry for Certified Microbiologist (NRCM) examination administered by American Society for Microbiologists (ASM). (Biosafety Education & Credentials: From Awareness to Implementation- Aamer Ikram) OMICS International through its Open Access group but it is main motive is to make genuine and reliable contributions to the scientific community. OMICS International includes well established quality journals, were numerous quality articles are published with quick review processing. One such established journal is bioterrorism and biodefense , this journal publishes articles related to Biosafety. "
