Bioterrorism is a form of terrorism, where there is an intentional release of biological agents such as bacteria, viruses, toxins, germs that cause illness or death. These Biological agents are typically found in nature can be spread through the air, water, or in food, increase their ability to be spread into the environment Some biological agents can also spread from person to person. These agents are very hard to detect because they don't cause illness for several hours or days So, it is often described as an attractive weapon because biological agents are relatively easy and inexpensive to obtain and can be easily disseminated, and can cause widespread fear and panic beyond the actual physical damage.
