Children with severe Functioning Autism(HFA) argued to use pseudo appraisals and avoidance patterns of duplicating behaviour in negative and full of stress social situations. The current study investigated the role of cognitive appraisals and duplicating behaviour in relation to negative emotions and social adjustment in children associated with HFA and typically developing (TD) children.The positive results achieved from the current study made fruitful contribution to the underdeveloped literature when comparing the significant differences between TD and HFA groups.
