The Treatment of Complex Dual Disorders

Now a days the researchers are focusing on the existing treatments for Dual Disorders (DDs), namely the co-occurrence of a Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and a Substance Use Disorder (SUD). The individual with dual disorders are more complex and even includes additional pathologies or stressors like cluster B personality disorders, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or trauma history, and depression. Treatments for such individuals is complicated and its not clear wheather the treatment for dual disorders are successful and how they can be improved from these treatments.
