The role of resonance in music

Resonance means oscillation of a system with a greater amplitude,and also it means "Resound". Resonance is the vibration that makes sound from the mouth. Resonant tone is necessary for a solo singer or classical or any other style of music. Resonance is used to increase the intensity of a tone.Resonance is an important part in making music. The common cause that produces sound in musical instruments is resonance. While singing, tone is produced by the vocal cords, it vibrates and activates four parts chest, mouth, nasal tract and head.In lower range chest resonace predominates, in middle resonance  mouth-nasal range is dominant,in higher range the head-nasal resonance dominates. In musical instruments, frequencies is based on the air coloumn.
