Colorectal cancer

The large intestine comprises of the colon and rectum. Cancer growth observed in the lining of this large intestine is named as colorectal cancer. The rate of incidence of this cancer is same in men and women and the risk of developing of this cancer increases in after the age of 50. The most common reason for the development of colorectal cancer may be because of colorectal polyps, family history of colorectal cancer, ulcerative colitis, diet containing high fat and smoke.
