Retinas cannot detect the red!!

The retina is the part of the eye that recognizes and responds to light. Red-Green & Blue-Yellow are normally considered as impossible colors or forbidden colors because of their various frequency combinations. Retinal cells called as "opponent neurons" get activated with the incidence of red light, and this activity tells the brain we're looking at something red. But during green light incidence also same set of neurons will be activated. This makes it impossible to see the impossible colors.
