Aspirin developing a degenerative eye condition

Slight development of rare form of macular degeneration is found in aspirin users. Regular intake of aspirin is having the risk of macular degeneration. Since aspirin is one of the commonly used drugs, this finding is seeking clinical attention. The findings are mainly focused on middle-aged and older adults population. Dr. Klein and her colleagues have made this finding through long-running Beaver Dam Eye Studies. This observational research finding still needs further evaluation and research to know more about the unknown factors involved in this cocktail between aspirin use and macular degeneration.
