Molecular Characterization of a PCE-Dechlorinating Microorganism

Chlorinated solvents, such as tetrachloroethylene (also referred to Perchloroethylene; PCE) and Trichloroethylene (TCE), are among the most prevalent groundwater pollutants. Its frequent occurrence at contaminated sites is due to its widespread use as an industrial solvent.
