Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid which plays a vital role in Human biology that contains the genetic instructions for the development and function of living things. The main role of DNA includes construction of several cellular components such as proteins and RNA molecules. DNA segments that carry genetic information called genes which express genetic information. Other proteins such as histones are involved in the packaging of DNA or repairing the damage to DNA that causes mutations. The overall patterns of DNA amplification and deletion corroborate previous cytogenetic studies, the high-resolution (gene-by-gene) mapping of amplicon boundaries and the quantitative analysis of amplicon shape provide significant improvement in the localization of candidate oncogenes.
