A Discrete Choice Experiment to Evaluate Blood Glucose Meter Preferences in People with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes in the UK

Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterised by a chronic abnormal blood glucose level caused by the failure of the pancreatic insulin secretion or tissues’ resistance to insulin action (i.e. glucose absorption). Potential long-term complications of diabetes include retinopathy, myocardial infarction, stroke, renal failure, and amputation.
