Strabismus is the inward wandering of one or both the eyes that occurs during the early one month of birth. Strabismus is a curable disease with different safe and effective treatment options. Strabismus is of different types such as esotropia, exotropia, hypertropia and hypotropia. This affects the vision by causing misalignment and due to this the normal eye becomes dominant over the other. On prolonged disease stage the brain will suppress the weaker eye images and thus makes it inactive or lazy. This eventually effects binocular vision and 3D image forming capacity.
