Cardiovascular Diseases are the priority cause of death universally. Since 2012, it was found that 31% of global deaths are due to cardiovascular diseases, 14.1million was the recorded data who got died of CVDâs world wide, out of these 7.4million deaths were due to coronary heart disease and 6.7million were due to stroke. These deaths were mostly recorded from middle income countries on an average.
The risk factors of cardio vascular diseases are obesity, tobacco use, unhealthy diet and alcohol consumption. Major types of CVDâs are coronary heart disease and stroke. The low plasma levels of HDL (High density lipoproteins) are the major cause of coronary heart disease which is also known as Atherosclerosis. HDL acts as anti-thrombotic, antioxidant. High concentrations of C reactive proteins (CRPâs) leads to get high risk of cardiovascular diseases. By maintaining proper dietary food and by taking proper medications in time, one can maintain the plasma levels of HDL and CRP in blood, thereby can reduce the high risk of heart disease.
