Human biology, an interdisciplinary branch which deals with humans and their various fields in in different branches of biology like evolution, genetics etc. Cell is the structural and functional unit of human body, which further diverges into various systems in the body. A group of cells called Tissues, which are specific with their functions and performs various functions and also be effected in diseases conditions.
Studies on these tissues on genetic based has revealed many new things and according ti Dr. Olga Troyanskaya, deputy director for genomics at SCDA, performed on 38,000 genome wide experiments and collected information about RNA/DNA and protein functions and their roles in diseases. Researchers used computation analysis to find out the inter relation between organs and oragn systems and tissues and researchers were able to identify statistical associations between genes and diseases that would otherwise be undetectable.
