Five genotypes of tuberose (double) were evaluated for twelve different parameters to ascertain the genetic variability and association among the characters during the year 2011-12 at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. The results of the experiment revealed that ‘Suvasini’ showed its superiority for certain parameters viz., plant height, number of leaves per plant, number of florets/ spike, length of the floret, weight of florets per spike, number of spikes/m2 and yield of florets/ plot (2*2 m). The phenotypic coefficient of variation (PCV) was higher than genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV) for all twelve characters studied.
