Bionic eye

In the earlier 20 years, biotechnology has become the fastest-budding area of scientific research, as new devices are going into clinical trials at an immediate pace. A bionic arm allows disabled to control actions of the prosthesis with their minds. A training system called Brain-Port is permitting people with visual and balance disorders sidestep their dented sensory organs and instead send information to their brain through the tongue. Now another invention called Bionic eye has been developed. The Argus II Retinal Prosthesis System also called Bionic eye can provide sight i.e. the detection of light, to people who have gone blind due to eye diseases
