Radio-guided Surgery of a Patient with Secondary Hyperparathyroidism

Secondary hyperparathyroidism is consequent to a chronic hypocalcaemic condition that can be caused primarily by renal failure. As a result of continuous stimulus to produce and secrete PTH induces parathyroid gland hyperplasia.
