Autotransplantation of an Impacted Second Premolar

Autotransplantation is considered a useful method for replacing missing anterior or posterior teeth with transplanted autogenous donor tooth. Autotransplantation has been considered a better option than any prosthetic option in growing individuals as not only it helps in growth but also preserves alveolar bone three dimensionally. Also there is possible avoidance of space maintainers during interim period till prosthetic placement.
