Sources of Stem cells

Currently, the most sources of biological process stem cells employed in transplantation of bone marrow (BM), peripheral blood (PB), and epithelial duct blood (UCB). Once transplantation, these biological process stem cells will repopulate the bone marrow of the patient, providing a supply of blood cells. UCB represents the blood remained in placenta and connected epithelial duct once delivery. It's collected at delivery time, once detaching the epithelial duct from the infant. Its assortment doesn't injury the newborn, as a result of it happens post-natal from associate degree organ that's not helpful any longer either for baby or for mother, which otherwise would be discarded beside the placenta. Once collected, the blood is tested, frozen and keep in banks for future use in transplantation medical aid. it's referred to as wire blood unit.Recent developments in somatic cell biology have elucidated a major differentiation physical property of each embryonic and adult stem cells in human tissue. These findings have kindled the hopes of achieving cell-based replacement medical aid
