Adventitious agents are those that are not inherent in the production of biopharmaceuticals. Microbial adventitious agents, Microbiocidal agents, help for inactivation of viruses, bacteria, fungi, mycoplasma, bacterial spore and sometimes prion. Bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) agents, abnormal prions, are also potential adventitious agents.
