Patients with isolated coronary ectasia, detected during coronary angiograms in El Minia university hospital between January 2011 and June 2015, were included in the study. 42 patients with isolated CAE and 26 control subjects with normal coronary arteries (NCA) were evaluated. The indication for coronary angiography was either the presence of typical angina or positive or equivocal results of stress test.
