Sleep disordered breathing (SDB) is a common disorder but not well recognized in clinical practice. SDB consists of a spectrum of disorders via- snoring, upper airway resistance syndrome and obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). Snoring is common in general population. Overall, snoring is reported to affect 19% to 37% of the general population and more than 50 % of middle aged men.
