Gene Expression In Cancer

Cancer is a disease condition that is caused due to the miscommunication between and within the cells. Mitogen activated protein kinase is the most predominate pathway that affects communication between the cells, thereby showing pleiotropic effects. Any kind of cancerous mutation in this gene affets RAS and B- Raf pathways., which are the extracellualar protein kinase pathways. While p38 and Jun-N terminal pathway seems to be encountered with malignant transformation. The integration between these various pathways are related to different tumours and their response to various drugs.
