The nervous and immune system are in constant dialogue, but information of that how these two necessary systems are integrated and functionally co-operative together at the molecular level are only now being advertised. Much of the current research in this field has highlighted on the role of immune cells and immune mediators in the initialization and the progression of specific neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis or Alzheimers disease. But how do autoimmune T-cells entered into the brain and how they contribute to neurological disorders? Can serum antibodies affect brain functioning? Such questions are still under research process.
Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
