Contact Lens Peer-review Journals

Contact lenses are the thin lenses that are placed directly on the surface of the eye. They are medical devices used for the correction of eyesight. Contact lenses correct vision better as compared to conventional spectacles so they are preferred over spectacles. Contact lenses are made up of plastic polymer. Depending upon the type of lens the raw material differs. Like hard contact lenses are made of some variant of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and soft contact lenses are made of a polymer such as poly hydroxyethyl methacrylate (pHEMA) which has hydrophilic qualities, means it can soak up water but still retain its shape and other optic functions. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
